During my time at FIU, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Intelligence Community's Center for Academic Excellence (ICCAE) Intelligence fellowship. The fellowship allowed me to broaden my skills and learn new skills that I can apply to my career. During the Intelligence Fellowship, I had the chance to attend multiple consultations, workshops, and simulations that would prepare me for a career in the federal government. Throughout the year-long fellowship, I was paired with a mentor to write an analytical briefing about a National Security issue. With my mentor, I focused on social media and how terrorist groups use social media to spread propaganda and recruit.
